J.Rigby Indigenous Designs is an Indigenous-owned art business operated by Jessica Rigby, a proud Gamilaraay, Bigambul, and Torres Strait Islander woman based in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. Jessica creates original artworks including canvas paintings, emu egg carvings, and commissioned pieces rooted in culture, Country, and community.

3. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to artwork images, photography, text, design, and logos, is the intellectual property of Jessica Rigby and J.Rigby Indigenous Designs unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Jessica Rigby. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided that appropriate credit is given.
The cultural knowledge, stories, symbols, and imagery contained within Jessica’s artworks represent living Indigenous heritage. These must be treated with respect and must not be reproduced, imitated, or appropriated in any form.

4. Products and Purchases
All artworks listed on this website are original, one-of-a-kind pieces. Once a work is sold it is no longer available, though similar commissioned works may be arranged.
By completing a purchase through this website you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian
• The information you have provided is accurate and complete
• You are authorised to use the payment method provided
Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

5. Commissioned Works
Commissioned pieces are created specifically for you based on a consultation process with Jessica. By engaging in a commission you agree to the following:
A deposit of 50% of the agreed price is required before work begins. This deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it covers the artist’s time, materials, and preparation.
The remaining balance is due upon completion and prior to delivery or collection.
Changes to the brief after work has commenced may incur additional costs. Jessica will communicate any such costs to you before proceeding.
Commissioned works are original pieces and carry the same intellectual property protections as all other artworks.

6. Shipping and Delivery
J.Rigby Indigenous Designs ships nationally within Australia and internationally. Delivery timeframes and shipping costs will be communicated at the time of purchase or enquiry.
Artworks are carefully packaged to ensure safe transit. While every care is taken, J.Rigby Indigenous Designs is not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party couriers once an item has been dispatched.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence so we can work to resolve the issue promptly.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Australian Consumer Law
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply to all purchases made through this website.
If a product is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the ACL, you are entitled to a remedy including a repair, replacement, or refund.
As all artworks are original and one-of-a-kind, change-of-mind returns are not accepted for ready-made works. For commissioned pieces, the deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.
If you have a concern about your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to reach a fair resolution.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, J.Rigby Indigenous Designs will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this website or any products purchased from it.
